The Problem

# How to Unlock Growth Through Reorganization

A global retailer’s data and analytics organization was evolving to gain speed and mature capabilities across the enterprise. This reorganization and centralization of enterprise-wide data were essential to unlock growth, provide confidence in decision-making within a complex business, and ultimately meet productivity targets. To support this transformation, the data and analytics group needed to better understand their stakeholder needs and expectations, identify the current state of the organization’s people, processes, and tools, and define strategies that would support rapid evolution and execution.

The Approach

# A Customized Framework to Analyze the Best Path Forward

The Propeller team designed an Organization Activation Framework to support the data and analytics organization to assess operational performance across people, process, and structure. Then, we analyzed survey and interview data from key stakeholders to determine pain points and examined findings and patterns from interviews and survey responses. The team then identified themes across stakeholder groups, linking the findings together. Finally, Propeller developed a set of recommendations and tactical initiatives to guide the transformation.
