Our Hiring Process

At Propeller, our people are our strongest assets. We invest a lot of time in getting to know candidates — and sharing what it is like working at Propeller — before they join the team. While there might be slight variances, this is the typical interview process for our consultant roles. Corporate roles will follow a slightly different process.

Interview 1
An initial phone call with someone in the firm to learn more about your experience, abilities, and career aspirations. We want to understand if consulting at Propeller fits your strengths. There will always be time to ask questions.
Interview 2
Through video chat, we will delve deeper into projects and ask more challenging questions on dealing with obstacles and stakeholders. You’ll be presented with a hypothetical client scenario and asked for your problem-solving approach.
Interview 3
Our product is our people. In this connection point, we aim to learn more about your leadership skills and values alignment with Propeller. There will also be another mini-business case.
Business Case
Last, you’ll be presented with a business case that is reflective of the type of work you’ll do at Propeller in the role and asked to create a presentation outlining your solution.
Offer
We make offers to candidates we feel are the best fit for the role. We’re looking for grit, curiosity, and a growth mindset.

Now Hiring

We’re looking for people with grit, curiosity, and the drive to move things forward. Don’t let imposter syndrome talk you out of applying. If the job sounds interesting — apply! While our interview process is competitive, our culture is collaborative. We work together to support each other — helping deliver the biggest impact for our clients, our culture, and each other.
