# Organizational Inefficiency Inhibiting Performance
Leadership at a large consumer product company sensed several areas of friction and inefficiency were preventing its large technology organization from reaching optimal performance. With intense demands on the organization to expand its digital business and meet aggressive revenue projections, it was critical to fully assess organizational issues and develop a resolution path. Our team seamlessly worked with senior-level stakeholders on a 10-week assessment during one of the organization's busiest times of the year. The goal was to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization and make recommendations to improve overall team performance.
The Approach
# Customized Assessment to Improve Effectiveness
Using a customized organizational and change assessment model, the team conducted in-depth research with directors, managers, and individual contributors across a 1,000-person team to collect and synthesize hundreds of pieces of data into efficiency hot spots. Then we grouped them into several themes and provided specific recommendations to raise effectiveness, including a detailed communications plan, scenario planning for organizational structure changes, as well as counsel on refining HR, project management, and financial dashboards.
