June Project Features

Project highlight #1

Using Quality of Hire Data to Improve New Hire Success

Hiring the right people is only part of the challenge; ensuring they thrive in their new roles is just as critical. In this presentation, Steven T. Hunt, Ph.D., Founder of i3 Talent LLC, explores innovative ways to use quality of hire (QoH) data to reduce hiring risks and maximize the value new employees bring to their roles. The presentation focuses on which actions have the greatest impact on long-term employee success.

Project highlight #2

Reducing Turnover Through Learning & Development

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) experience high turnover, with one-third leaving within the first six months. In this presentation, Jason Randall, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Portland State University, shares findings from two collaborative projects with agencies across New York State. The work explores how organizational investment in employee learning and development can reduce turnover intent and support long-term retention among DSPs.
