The absolute funniest anecdote is his speech in May 08 ... saying he DOES NOT support Off-Shore Drilling ...

Yea, once it became possible that McCain would be the next president of the US, all of the same people that called McCain a "great guy" back-stabbed him and changed their tune....
Funny how that works.....If you're not running for President they're your best friends and once you start running for that presidency, they turn their backs on you....

Priceless video response to the McCain Ad. Man, that Obama is fighting back and fighting effectively. This is what Gore and Kerry should have done during their campaigns. I respect a man who defends himself vigorously but with intelligence and style. Unlike his opposition, who has shown himself to be a shadow of what he once was.

Lets see, Gallup has them within the margin of error among registered voters and McCain leading among likely voters.
For all the hype Obama should be doing much better.
But the real question about what has he “lead” is what legislation has he written and got passed in to law (naming post offices, national hug your plant month doesn’t count)

McCain has lost the respect of the majority of all the democrats who revered him in the past.

I can't believe what he's done to himself, and the not only negative but idiotic ads he has ran lately.
Also, the vets who were incarcerated with him in Nam hate him. They don't say why, just that they would NEVER vote for him. There's a reason for that.
